Eden, Eden, Eden at 50 @the White Cube

To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Pierre Guyotat’s polemic book Eden, Eden, Eden (first released and immediately censored in 1970), the Association Pierre Guyotat is organizing fifty readings in fifty different places around the world today.
The White Cube is one of the participating venues. Several members of le Cercle d’Art des Travailleurs de Plantation Congolaise (CATPC) will be reading parts of the book. Other participating venues include Villa Borghese, Musée d’Orsay, Festival d’Avignon, Centre Pompidou-Metz, Fondation Azzedine Alaïa, Museo Nacional Centre de Arte Reina Sofía, Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires Malba and Artists’ Space in New York.
