Chocolate that replants the forest

 

We are CATPC, a group of Congolese plantation workers and artists who live and work on a deserted palm oil plantation.

 

After a century of profiting from our underpaid labor, Unilever left the land drained and degraded with their harmful farming practices. While some of the profits were used to build museums in Europe, we saw very little benefit in return.

 

Now, we are reclaiming our land. Through art, we are transforming the depleted plantation into a biodiverse food forest that will sustain future generations. At its heart, we built a White Cube museum where we hold exhibitions for our community.
